Kennedy Storey, MSW, LICSW,
About Kennedy Storey (She/Her)
Kennedy Storey, LICSW, provides compassionate and affirming therapy for individuals across the state of Washington. She works collaboratively with clients to process and move through challenges, build emotional resilience, and develop a deeper sense of self-understanding and authentic self-expression. Her approach is relational and client-centered, with treatment shaped around each person’s unique needs, goals, and preferences. Kennedy specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and traumatic stress.
She has a detailed clinical background supporting individuals and families associated with foster care and adoption. Kennedy has professional experience working with those who may be experiencing attachment-related concerns and complex trauma. She is committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space for individuals exploring gender identity, navigating faith transitions, understanding neurodivergence, and those experiencing major life changes.
Kennedy integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT and TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices. She also utilizes therapeutic art, narrative therapy, as well as parent support and coaching. She works to provide support that extends beyond the therapeutic hour—helping clients develop meaningful tools, relationships, and practices that support well-being in everyday life.
Outside of her clinical work, Kennedy enjoys sewing, watercolor painting, and digital art. She creates balance in her life through hiking, roller skating, and quiet afternoons with her two cats and a favorite novel.
