Kimberly Tobar helps individuals, teens, and families across Utah navigate life’s challenges with compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. As a therapist with LifeStance Health, she provides a supportive space where clients can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and alcohol or drug use while developing practical tools for emotional stability and healthier relationships. Kimberly works with teens and adults, tailoring treatment to each person’s goals and experiences while helping them build resilience and lasting coping skills. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Couples/Marital Counseling. Kimberly works with individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, and substance use, and she also offers support for populations including individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, those connected to adoption or foster care, and individuals on the autism spectrum. She also provides additional therapeutic services to address a range of mental health needs. She is committed to ongoing learning and providing thoughtful, personalized care that reflects each client’s unique background and goals. Kimberly also offers therapy in Spanish, helping expand access to culturally responsive mental health services to combat the stigma around mental health. Outside of her clinical work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, crocheting, photography, caring for her plants, spending time with her dogs, trying new foods, and playing video games.
