Group Focus:

Are you an adult with depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, an eating disorder, or who has lived through a traumatic experience? Then this dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) group could be a great fit for you! This group will focus on learning skills to help with regulating intense emotions, tolerating distress, improving relationships, and being more mindful in day-to-day life, while also providing opportunities to relate and interact with each other.

Participants: Individuals aged 18+ who have difficulty with overwhelming emotions, impulsive behavior, self-injury or suicidal ideation, social anxiety, or challenges with relationships. This group is also open for any individual who feels they could benefit from additional therapeutic skills and/or support.

What: Four key areas of focus include mindfulness and awareness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Please join our group to validate your feelings and reactions as well as help replace behaviors that are not serving you.

When: Virtual on Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. In Person on Mondays 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. There are 11 sessions with rolling admissions every five weeks, pending availability. The group will pause for holidays. The facilitator will communicate any changes (as needed) to the schedule.
