Melissa Danilov, MSN, PMHNP-BC,
About Melissa Danilov (She/Her)
Melissa Danilov helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Oregon navigate mental health challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a personalized approach to care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management for a wide range of concerns, with particular experience supporting individuals living with anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Melissa works collaboratively with patients to understand their unique experiences, develop effective treatment plans, and help them achieve meaningful improvements in daily functioning and overall well-being. Melissa is especially passionate about integrating holistic wellness practices into mental health treatment. She supports the thoughtful use of yoga and meditation alongside evidence-based psychiatric care, helping patients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen mind-body connections. This approach can be particularly beneficial for individuals seeking a more comprehensive path to managing stress, mood concerns, attention difficulties, and life transitions. Her practice includes working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and military veterans. In addition to treating anxiety, ADHD, and depression, Melissa offers support for many other mental health conditions and life challenges. She incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-informed strategies into her medication management work when appropriate. Melissa values creating a welcoming, respectful environment where patients feel heard and empowered throughout their treatment journey. She believes successful mental health care begins with strong therapeutic relationships and thoughtful collaboration between provider and patient.
Outside of her clinical work, Melissa enjoys practicing yoga, staying engaged with neuroscience research, running, and playing the guitar. Her personal interests reflect her commitment to lifelong learning, wellness, and understanding the connection between physical and emotional health.
