As I walked out of my very first session, I literally took a deep breath and thought, “I’m going to be okay.” For the first time in a long time, I felt truly heard—not judged. She was incredibly easy to talk to, compassionate, and affirming. Looking back, my only regret is that I didn’t reach out sooner.
