I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive training in trauma-informed care models and have worked with a broad range of mental and emotional disorders. I graduated with my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University. I have experience working with culturally diverse clients of various ages in school-based, day treatment, and outpatient settings. I currently offer individual therapy to children and adults. I believe in holistic assessment: I integrate the client’s background, relational history, and current functioning into their dynamic treatment plan. I utilize many therapeutic models and base much of my work on trauma-informed models such as Collaborative Problem Solving and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I integrate non-verbal expression interventions as needed through the use of expressive arts, sandtray, and play therapy. My main objective is to build a strong therapeutic relationship with the client to collaboratively create and work toward treatment goals. I am flexible, creative, and will adapt my approach to meet individual needs. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, crafting, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.
