Demetrius Baldwin is a Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon who has been practicing since 2022. He has a Master of Counseling from Arizona State University, a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an A.A. in Psychology from Elgin Community College. Demetrius aims to create an environment characterized by a strong therapeutic relationship defined by respect, empathy, challenges, and approval-reassurance. Following the creation of such an environment his clients will be able to feel safe enough to reduce their defenses and gain insight about themselves to practice a different way of being. In his free time, Demetrius enjoys staying active doing activities such as ice skating, boxing, cycling, hiking, swimming, or running depending on the time of the year. He also finds joy in dancing as well – particularly Tango. He is passionate about his community and strives to serve local organizations including church youth groups, equine-assisted therapy organizations, and collegiate based Circle K organizations. He is also always trying to learn new recipes in the kitchen as well!
