David Galbraith, MSW, LCSW ADHD-CCSP.
David considers himself a generalist, working with adults who struggle with the many different challenges we face in our lives. Through training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, grief counseling and a certification in Adult ADHD David takes an approach of curiosity to discover with you what challenges you’re facing, discovering/reaffirming your strengths and supports, and providing tools to better manage emotional and other struggles. David earned his master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007 and has experience working in substance abuse, child and adolescent therapy, family therapy, a mental health crisis center, and adult therapy. David currently facilitates Adult ADHD group(s) to support others learning and better manage inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and very often negative self-talk associated with ADHD. He knows that some people need space and objective reflection to help find what they need to feel unstuck, and others need more specific tools and coping skills to better manage the barriers in their life and David utilizes both to best support your needs.
