Let me start by saying that I never post reviews online. However I just had my first of many appointments with LifeStance (Sheena Backer), and because of the high level of professionalm and genuine care, I feel compelled to write a review. From my first phonecall to request an appointment to my first appointment today, LifeStance has made becoming their patient such an easy process. Their scheduling staff is very accommodating and helped to make sure that they scheduled me right away and with the correct provider for my needs. I have had a few horrible experiences in the recent past with providers/physicians who look good on paper and claim to care and have their patients best interest at heart, only to learn that they not only lacked professionalism, they lacked compassion, empathy and even worse, they had THEIR best interest at heart...money! My first appointment with Sheena Backer today was such a breath of fresh air. She took her time with me, listened attentively with compassion, but just as importantly, she took all of my concerns and needs into account and came up with a logical plan for my health situation. She addressed all of my concerns and throughly and thoughtfully created a solid treatment plan. She is extremely knowledgeable and put me at ease from the cost moments of my appointment to the end of my appointment with her. We need more medical providers like Sheena Backer and the other providers at LifeStance. I will be referring everyone that I know to them. Thank you Dr. Backer and LifeStance for redeeming my faith and confidence in the medical industry. You're the best!

Wait until i tell you about this place, i was dreading going to a new therapist but they made it so much easier than i expected The front desk person was so nice even though i was fifteen minutes late because of traffic and my idiot GPS sent me the wrong way Dr Martinez really listened to me, like actually paid attention and didnt just nod along or glance at the clock which happened at my last clinic If you ever wanted to try therapy or need to switch your psychiatrist its totally worth the drive even if you hate driving like i do I already booked my next appointment and im actually looking forward to it which is something i never thought id say about talking to a stranger about my feelings

walked in expecting the usual awkward intake process and was ready to be underwhelmed, but it was nothing like that. The front desk lady was super chill and got me checked in without making me fill out a million forms again. i had a good conversation with the therapist and actually felt like she got what I was saying right away. The place was quiet and clean, no weird waiting room vibes. THey had a policy or something that was a little confusing but it didnt really matter because the care was good. I left feeling a lot lighter than when I came in, which is all I really wanted. Wouldnt think twice about coming back, it worth the drive.

came in feeling pretty anxious about a few things but left feeling like i could actually breathe i ended up working through some stuff i didnt even know was weighing on me the therapist just let me talk and somehow it all made sense i was really nervous about starting but she was super down to earth and didnt make it weird at all prices were fine and they got me in quick which mattered a lot already booked my next session before i even left the parking lot a really nice experience for something we usually put off

I searched for mental health support for my older sister for a very long time. My sister's new primary care physician, Jessica Tsuei, recommended LifeStance to me. I followed up and viole', things began to happen. My sister and I met virtually with Dr.Taylor Alexander. She appeared to be very knowledgeable and considered of my sister's concerns. I'm looking forward to the doctor/ patient relationship to be the help my sister and I need for her to reach her highest potential.

I felt so relaxed and happy leaving, like a weight had been lifted it was such a good experience. The front desk person was really freindly and answered all my questions. My appointment started on time so definately no waiting around which was nice for once. I talked through some stuff I was stressing about and it didnt feel rushed at all just a really calm helpful conversation. going back next month.
