He has created and presented many continuing education programs for training social workers, substance abuse counselors and clinical psychologists in Michigan. He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis and Somatic Experiencing to join his clients in their own journey to creating a better life.
Mr. Derrick approaches psychotherapy with a change-based philosophy built around providing compassionate support for people wanting to overcome past traumas and personal limitations while making positive changes in their lives. Mr. Derrick works with mood disorders, anxiety, panic, post- traumatic stress as well as other mental health and personality issues.
In his spare time, Glenn devotes himself to his two children, music and writing. He plays guitar and piano and can frequently be found making small toys and animals using origami.
