DBT Skills Group For Adults in Naperville, Illinois
Join our Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills group and build the tools you need to manage emotions, reduce stress, increase distress tolerance, and take control of your emotions.
Group Focus:
Struggling with intense emotions or difficult relationships? Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can help. This supportive group will teach practical skills to manage emotions, build healthier relationships, and find balance between acceptance and change.
You’ll learn DBT techniques in an easy-to-understand way, with relatable examples and real-life applications. Each session provides a space to practice, share experiences, and gain support from others on the same journey.
Participants: Adults 18+ and any gender; people with an eating disorder, substance use, depression, anxiety, and/or emotional deregulation concerns are recommended to participate.
Cost: Insurance and self-pay are accepted in Illinois
When: In-person on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., starting on June 19, 2025
Facilitator:
Threasa (Tee) Kluever’s approach begins with meeting each client where they are at, creating a non-judgmental space, and a collaborative alliance to understanding the unique situations and needs of each client.
