Group Overview:

This eight-week support and skills group is for individuals struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD, participants will learn how to gradually face their fears, reduce compulsions, and build confidence in managing uncertainty.

Each session includes psychoeducation, structured exposure practice, and peer support to help break the cycle of avoidance. By the end of the group, participants will have a personalized ERP plan, stronger coping skills, and a sense of empowerment in their recovery journey.

Participants: Adults of all genders affected by OCD and anxiety; specifically, any of the following:
• Have OCD and struggle with compulsions, intrusive thoughts, or avoidance behaviors
• Experience generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and want to reduce excessive worry and rumination
• Have social anxiety disorder (SAD) and want structured exposure practice for social fears
• Struggle with health anxiety, phobias, or perfectionism and want to challenge their avoidance patterns
• Open to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
• Desire therapist-guided practice in a supportive setting

When: In-person on Fridays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., starting April 11 and lasting eight weeks. Register by April 7.

Cost: Insurance and self-pay are accepted in Illinois
