Sabrena understands that starting therapy is often a difficult and daunting process, and therefore works to help individuals feel more at ease at the beginning of their journey. She offers an inclusive and safe space for you to collaboratively identify steps toward improving your life. She believes you do not have to take on challenges alone and that therapy is a place where you can find support to help you build the life you want to live.
Sabrena works with clients using a variety of evidence-based treatments modified for each client’s unique and individual needs, including Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-informed Care, and Solution Focused Therapy. She’s passionate about working with couples, adolescents and emerging adults who are learning to find their way in the world, as well as with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Sabrena is also trained in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and is passionate in serving this community.
With a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wyoming, Sabrena has experience working in community mental health and university settings.
