Maddi Myers, LCPC, is dedicated to helping children and families in Kansas navigate challenges to build healthier, more supportive relationships. She provides a warm, compassionate space for young children to develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and overcome barriers to growth. Maddi is trained to use a variety of therapeutic models including Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, and Sand Tray therapy. She is also Level 1 trained in Theraplay® and MIM assessments.

Maddi has experience in supporting children with a myriad of pediatric needs, working closely with families to strengthen communication and foster long-term stability. In addition to her focus on early childhood behavioral concerns, Maddi also works with children facing developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, grief and loss, and adoption or foster care transitions. Maddi’s clinical repertoire also includes children experiencing selective mutism, sibling and peer issues, depression, and anxiety. She draws on her clinical expertise to address a wide range of concerns while tailoring her approach to meet each child’s unique needs.

Maddi is particularly passionate about helping children who are adjusting after being recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital, navigating the difficulties of parental custody situations, or who have been victimized by interpersonal violence and other traumas. These experiences can be overwhelming for both children and caregivers, and Maddi works to create a safe environment where families feel supported and equipped with tools to move forward. Through the use of parenting skills interventions, she collaborates with caregivers to ensure strategies extend beyond the therapy room and into daily life. Maddi believes in the power of play to help children and their families flourish.

Outside of her work at LifeStance Health, Maddi enjoys spending time with her family and her German Shepherd, Jasmine. She loves getting lost in fiction, mysteries, and romance novels, and she often takes the stage in local community theatre productions.
