Meghan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the Danvers and Lynnfield locations. Meghan currently sees clients virtually and in-person. Meghan strives to bring comfort, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard to every session to work on identified treatment goals. Meghan graduated with a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Boston College with a certificate in expertise in Trauma therapy. Meghan uses a multi-modal approach to support and establish a sense of internal and external safety when engaging in trauma related work. Meghan was also trained in Flash Technique in 2023, which utilizes eye movements or alternating tapping and is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. Meghan also has experience working with individuals with substance use disorders as well as their loved ones throughout different levels of care, including Section-35s, ATS, CSS, IOP, and outpatient therapy. Meghan also facilitates a virtual 22-week DBT Skills group a few times a year. Meghan was trained in DBT Skills Group through the Treatment Implementation Collaboration Program in 2021. Group is divided into 4 modules: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Effectiveness/Healthy Relationships.
