Abigail Cohn, MSW, LCSW
Abigail Cohn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2014. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater from Macalester College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Abigail offers a relaxed and non-judgmental approach. She aims to create a collaborative environment to enable clients to develop their own goals and experiment with making important changes. Abigail has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Abigail has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in addition to a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Therapy. She pulls from a variety of approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Emotion-focused therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Abigail has a client-centered approach to therapy and seeks to team with clients to empower them in making meaningful change.
In her free time, Abigail enjoys exploring new recipes, knitting, and has taken up spinning yarn. She also enjoys spending time with her family and cats and getting outdoors.
