Well, this is how amazing our Lifestance psychiatrist is: First, he began treating my son with mild ADHD (got a very mild dose, non-stimulant medication that totally takes the edge off and my son has been doing amazing in school and at home the last ~1.5 years since!). Now, he’s treating my daughter and myself for anxiety. He makes all of us feel HEARD, understood, valued, validated… He never jumps to medication; in fact me and my daughter aren’t on anything yet. But we know we could reach out if we need to, and that’s HUGE. And makes us feel stronger and empowered to continue with talking and practicing our self care. But we also know it’s OK and READILY AVAILABLE if we need the help of medication. I’m so grateful for our psychiatrist and Lifestance!!!

Unfortunately waited in lobby 25 min before provider called me. At my waiting I approached receptionist to inquire if provider was running late? He was notified and came out. He was upset that he was not informed that I had initially checked in. We had a full session and he was a great help at my request. Overall my session with provider was excellent. Reception might want to take note if patient is waiting awhile, as it was not busy.
