Amy M. Tye is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, obtaining her Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She started her practice in 2023 after 10 years of critical care nursing. It was during these years in the intensive care where her interest in mental health developed. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Amy has experience with all age groups, from children to geriatric populations as well as women’s health; promoting wellness as well as offering treatment for various conditions i.e., anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, substance use and more. She believes first, in meeting the patient where they are, followed by a holistic, integrative approach that focuses on the relationship between the mind, body and spirit. Amy’s practice combines standard medical treatment and evidence-based therapeutic methods to provide individualized treatment all while ensuring patient-centered care. In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends, family, and fur babies.
