Amy Tetalman, MFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in practice since 2008. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara.

Amy utilizes a collaborative, strength-based and holistic approach to therapy. She believes in humor, compassion and unconditional positive regard when it comes to connecting with her clients. She incorporates elements from Gottman Method, psychodynamic, interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, humanistic and solution-focused therapies. Her main treatment areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, post-partum, life transitions, parenting support and women’s issues. She does individual and couples counseling and sees ages 18+.

In her free time, Amy enjoys yoga, gardening, walking her dog and spending time with family and friends. She is a long-time resident of Santa Barbara who is happily married with two children.
