Anjanette Tuckman, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a master’s in social work from Portland State University. I have over 10 years of clinical experience working with various populations. My background includes providing clinical support for those in psychiatric inpatient care, managing acute episodic issues and supporting individuals stabilize and return safety to the community. I also have extensive experience supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and have worked and volunteered at a local community-based nonprofit that specializes in this valuable work. I currently work as a therapist in the integrated care setting at Oak Street Medical. I enjoy the collaboration between medical professionals and behavioral health specialists and believe this approach provides the optimal environment for healing. I also provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed individuals and enjoy supporting new clinicians on their journey towards licensure. I currently serve as the Lane County LifeStance Crisis Team Lead and specialize in suicide prevention. My other specialties include working with trauma; I am EMDR Certified through the Personal Transformation Institue. I work from a strengths-based approach that emphasizes the importance of balanced living through improved self-care, learning the principles of self-compassion, and improving skills in life-management. My approach to therapy is to support growth in the mind, body and spirit of each individual I work with. I enjoy helping individuals learn to understand and manage their feelings, thoughts and behaviors, and how to regulate the body through somatic experiencing practices. My goal is to support individuals in living a heathier, happier, positive, and productive lifestyle. I have extensive training in various treatment modalities and enjoy a collaborative and transparent approach to addressing client needs, I look forward to working with you!
