The thought of going to therapy generally leaves people feeling that they are weak or unable to solve problems on their own. When in reality, the majority of people that are seeking therapy are ordinary people that are dealing with ordinary, everyday issues that life throws at us.

I approach therapy by creating a safe, non-judgmental environment, where my clients and I can explore some of the issues that are creating negative feelings or behavioral responses. I believe that building therapeutic rapport is an important factor in engaging the client and their family and enjoy being creative, playful and relatable with them. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults that are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem, ADHD, transitions and behavior concerns. I also find value in coordinating with outside providers, such as schools and/or medical providers in order to provide the best client care.

With your permission, I will assist you and/or your child in navigating through life’s difficult times and develop the necessary tools to having a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. You are not alone and together we can work on a solution that is tailored to your specific needs.
