Specializes In:
Courtney Bladen is a Family Therapist who has experience working with adolescents in schools, family therapy, and couples therapy. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Courtney believes that therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist, client, and the client’s family where everyone can work together to promote connection and strength in the client’s life. She believes that our thoughts, feelings, and experiences are informed by the systems that surround us, shaping who we are and how we experience the world. She approaches therapy from a systemic, social justice, and trauma-informed lens integrating a variety of modalities including internal family systems, narrative, and solution-focused therapy as well as including mindfulness interventions to enhance the modalities’ purpose. In her free time, you can find Courtney spending time with friends and family finding delicious food, or snuggled up under a cozy blanket reading or watching a good show. Courtney received her Master of Arts Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Portland State University. Courtney is under the supervision of Sharon Hatrak, LPC.
