About Foster Hutchinson (He/Him)
Dr. Hutchinson has been practicing psychotherapy since 1986 and joined Vista Behavioral Health Associates in 2002. He provides individual therapy to older adolescents and adults of all ages, and does marital therapy. He also performs psychological evaluations for those considering bariatric surgery. Dr. Hutchinson’s areas of interest and experience include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, coping with medical illnesses, marital and family issues, stress management, and bereavement issues. While he uses a psychodynamic model to understand his clients’ issues, his therapeutic approaches rely on techniques from cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal approaches. Dr. Hutchinson is a member of the American Psychological Association and The National Register of Health Providers in Psychology.
