Joseph (Jef) Faulkner is married with 4 school-aged children. He is a regular distance runner. And in his free-time, he likes to read all kinds of fiction–even historical fiction–and biography (which he is doing right now!). He also loves to take walks with the family dog.
Jef has worked in the mental health field for over thirty-five years. He is a licensed clinical social worker and he specializes in doing child and family therapy. At the current time, his primary focus of treatment is with boys between the ages of six and eighteen who are having trouble adjusting to their return to school after having to deal with the disruptiveness of COVID-19. Many of these boys are dealing with high anxiety issues. Others are struggling with Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD). And a very few have been trying to cope with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders (OCD). He has also helped several boys with family adjustment issues over the years. And he looks forward to continuing this good work in the years ahead.
