Therapist in Medford, Massachusetts Katie Infantine, LICSW

Katie Infantine, LICSW

Katie is a Simmons College trained Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and practices integrative psychotherapy. She was trained in ketamine assisted psychotherapy at the Ketamine Training Center and has completed the MDMA therapy training program with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). Katie utilizes her western medical training and her holistic psychedelic training to offer ketamine assisted psychotherapy in a safe, empowering and transformative way. While ketamine is a powerful catalyst, the focus on preparation and integration provides an ideal setting and mindset with which to foster sustainable changes and growth. Katie works with adult individuals who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, low self-esteem and disconnection from one’s self. She facilitates her clients’ ability to tune into their intuition and inner healing intelligence, allowing them to gain clarity, new perspectives and reconnection. She is an LGBTQIA+ ally and is passionate about providing an accepting, therapeutic environment for all intersecting identities, genders and relationship practices. Katie specializes in supporting individuals who are practicing polyamory and ethical non-monogamy or are interested in exploring this avenue for the first time. Katie’s psychotherapy practice blends her holistic perspective with several modalities including IFS, Narrative, Transpersonal and Existential therapies. She utilizes relaxation, meditation, expressive arts, and guided imagery techniques depending on her clients’ presenting concerns. She considers biological, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural qualities along with each person’s unique set of life experiences. Katie believes the relationship between an individual and therapist is the most important feature of a successful and fulfilling experience in therapy. Her goal is to create and sustain a safe and trusted space for her clients to explore their concerns, process emotions, clarify goals, develop creative solutions, draw on strengths, and celebrate successes.
