Kristen Jopes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2020. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from DePaul University and her B.S. in Psychology from Illinois State University. Kristen’s clinical experience includes working with adolescents, young adults, and older adults as well as external experience working with children and adolescents through athletic coaching. Her clinical experience consists of working within the community environment as well as a behavioral health hospital. Kristen has experience working with patients at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care for mental health, substance use, and disordered eating behaviors. She has training and professional interest in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Problem-Centered approach, and Crisis Intervention. Kristen prefers to use a client-centered approach while meeting the individual where you are at.
