Mark Simmons, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist and Certified Health Service Provider. Dr. Simmons provides individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, as well as couples and family therapy. He has experience in evidence based treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems, with expertise in treating family and marital conflict, attention deficit and other executive functioning difficulties, trauma, anxiety, depression, persistent mental illness, psychotic disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Non-verbal Learning Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder. Dr. Simmons works in close collaboration with other providers, primary care physicians, schools, and community organizations to provide the best quality and continuity of care. Dr. Simmons graduated from Bates College. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Simmons completed pre-doctoral training at the Couples and Family Clinic at Cambridge Health Alliance as well as Medfield State Hospital. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining LifeStance Health Dr. Simmons was in private practice in Acton, Massachusetts.
