Michele is an individual and family therapist licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She has more than 20 years of experience working as a clinical social worker with adults, teens and families with children on issues of family conflict, trauma history, school performance problems and adoption related issues. She has helped individuals, children and adolescents with emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, attachment issues, grief loss, and trauma. Michele has extensive experience with trauma therapy modalities. Michele is an adoptive parent and has worked many years with families in pre and post adoption status. Michele is sensitive to the specific needs of LGBT individuals and families. Michele is straight forward and invested in improving life experiences for her clients. She encourages self determined solutions for problems by offering a safe space with strategies for working through difficult decisions and complex situations.
