Nancy Pierce, MSN, APRN, BC

Nancy Pierce is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified in Family Mental Health for child, adolescent, and adults. Ms. Pierce received her MSN degree in 2001 from the University of Kansas and completed both the Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner programs. Ms. Pierce has worked in almost all areas of nursing, including school nursing.

She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment plans and ongoing medication management, if needed. She works with ages 5-60. Her special interests are in the areas of Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Attention Deficit Disorder.

With an extensive medical background and years of experience, Ms. Pierce brings a holistic approach to helping clients. Ms. Pierce considers it both a responsibility and a privilege to listen closely to clients to understand what they are experiencing that limits their ability to live life to the fullest. It is only with that understanding that Ms. Pierce and the client can work together to decide what treatment will work best for that individual at that particular time in their life. As a parent and grandparent, Ms. Pierce fully understands and appreciates parents’ angst when their child is struggling. You will find her willing to partner with you in treating your child. As well as being an excellent clinician, Ms. Pierce’s upbeat attitude, calmness, and compassion put adults and children alike at ease.
