Dr. Michael Jones is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Illinois who has been practicing since 2014. He graduated with his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University. Dr. Jones approaches treatment and clinical assessment with curiosity, humility, and humor which he has found to be fundamental aspects of both healing and the evolution of self. Dr. Jones believes that each of us has a distinct narrative and journey, so his approach is informed by deference for the uniqueness of the human experience. He hopes to help his patients develop clear insight into who they are and what they have experienced. Dr. Jones advocates for his patients to reclaim their own narratives so that they can write the next chapters of their respective journeys. His aspiration as a therapist is to help his patients recover from the past, embrace the present, and foster resilience to rely upon in the future and for a lifetime. Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys ice skating, exploring, concerts, film, traveling, cooking, and reading.
