Erica Borman, DO

Dr. Borman is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. Erica graduated from Cornell University with a BA in Biology and Society. After completing medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of the NJ School of Osteopathic Medicine, she then trained for two years in Obstetrics and Gynecology before completing a psychiatry residency at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She has experience in a wide array of mental health issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and ADHD.

In addition to her general practice, she is also certified in Perinatal mental health PMH-C and has special interest in working with women across the lifespan including addressing PMS/PMDD, perinatal mood disorders, and menopause. She treats patients ages 18 and older. As an osteopathic psychiatrist, Dr. Borman comes from a form of medicine founded on the philosophy that all body systems are interrelated and dependent upon one another for good health that the person is a combination of mind, body and spirit and that we should focus on treating the whole patient, rather than just the disease. When not working, Dr. Borman enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and reading.
