About Samantha Harris (She/Her)
Samantha Harris received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2011 and Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2015 at the University of Cincinnati. Samantha has been providing therapy services since 2015 and has experience working with adolescents, adults and families. Samantha’s experience and training in community mental health has helped her to understand the effects of trauma and present-day systems that impact not only the individual but also the family’s functioning. Samantha practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and other therapies to help support individual’s ability to increase self-reliance and empowerment. Samantha believes that understanding our own emotions and improving our ability to cope and build resilience will help us feel more confident in managing life’s challenges and fully embrace living. Samantha’s knowledge and training help treat a wide range of topics including anxiety, adjustment issues, co-dependency, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, interpersonal and occupational strain and conflicts.
