Syed Jafar, MD

I was born in Pakistan and went to school over there. After graduating from the medical school, I worked for four years in Iran as a family practitioner. In 195 I move to US and did four years residency in psychiatry. I passed my boards in 2002. I have done inpatient and outpatient practice. I also served as the medical director of a geriatric unit in Seattle. I have been in San Diego since 2008 and mostly worked in Sharp Grossmont and Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, where I am medical director of substance abuse program.
