Dana Dicken, LCSW, helps adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in Michigan. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she provides individual and family therapy for patients across Michigan, creating a supportive space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to address emotional and behavioral challenges.

With more than a decade of clinical experience, Dana works with adolescents and teens navigating school stress, emotional regulation, and identity development, as well as young adults and adults facing life transitions and mood-related concerns. Her clinical approach is grounded in collaboration and skill-building, helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical strategies that support long-term mental wellness. Dana specializes in treating ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma, and she offers additional support for depression, bipolar disorder, grief, and childhood behavior issues when clinically appropriate.

A core passion of Dana’s work is trauma-informed care. She is especially dedicated to helping clients process traumatic experiences, break cycles of generational trauma, and restore a sense of safety and control. Dana thoughtfully integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family therapy to help clients regulate emotions, strengthen coping skills, and improve communication within family systems. She also serves individuals and families involved in adoption or foster care and supports clients with developmental disabilities, while offering additional therapeutic approaches as needed.

Dana brings experience from home-based, school, and clinical settings. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games and cards, watching lacrosse and football, and connecting through music.
