Jessie is especially passionate about working with children and adolescents who are navigating behavioral challenges, trauma, or difficulties with school or family life. Her background includes treating youth with ADHD, PTSD, and school avoidance using trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches. She is experienced in helping families create more connected relationships and supporting young clients in building emotion regulation, self-confidence, and resilience. Jessie brings warmth and patience to every session, recognizing the importance of meeting children and teens where they are developmentally and emotionally. Jessie’s clinical expertise includes treating anxiety, PTSD/trauma, and childhood behavioral issues. She frequently uses evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, and mindfulness. She is also trained in parenting skills and working collaboratively with caregivers to improve communication and create effective support systems. Jessie is proud to serve diverse populations, including individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, those impacted by adoption or foster care, and first responders. Additional areas of focus in her practice include OCD, substance use, eating disorders, and grief. In addition to her clinical work, Jessie has a deep love for music and nature. She’s a lifelong singer, writes songs in her free time, and enjoys playing piano. When not in the therapy room, she finds renewal in the outdoors, taking every opportunity to be outside.
