Victoria Hughes is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in California who has been practicing since 2022. She is adept at aligning with your needs and respecting your philosophy of health to empower you toward your desired outcome. Victoria brings a wide range of diverse experiences to her practice. With ten years of experience as a cardiac intensive care/trauma nurse, she has a solid foundation in medical management as well as caring for people and families in crisis. While living in the rainforest in Costa Rica for over a decade, Victoria built a retreat center and founded a company dedicated to the healing arts. The focus was on mind-body wellness, incorporating holistic healing styles. She offered weekly group therapy sessions with rotating themes such as radical acceptance/forgiveness, examining belief systems, developing mindfulness, and more. She taught meditation, yoga, Reiki, and held retreats for the community and global travelers. Victoria served as the director of health and wellness for a wilderness therapy program for young adults who were struggling with an array of life challenges. She hopes to partner with you on your journey to mind-body health. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys yoga, mediation/mindfulness, travel, skiing, martial arts, nature, and her children.
