Coping Skills For Depression, Anxiety, And Truama Group in Taylor, Michigan
Are you looking for practical tools to help manage depression, anxiety, or trauma in a supportive environment?
Group Focus:
This group is designed to help you build resilience, find new coping strategies, and reconnect with your strengths through education, discussion, creative exercises, and evidence-based techniques. Each phase of the group will focus on a key area:
- Depression: We’ll explore what depression is, how it affects our thoughts and behaviors, and how to recognize triggers and unhelpful thinking patterns.
- Anxiety: We’ll dive into understanding anxiety and its relationship with fear, identifying personal symptoms and triggers, and learning techniques to break the anxiety cycle.
- Trauma: In the final section, we’ll focus on understanding trauma and its impact on the mind and body. Through CBT-based exercises and art therapy, you’ll learn skills to promote healing and foster a greater sense of safety and empowerment.
Participants: Men and women ages 18 to 80
Cost: Insurance or self-pay in Michigan
When: In-person on Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m., starting June 3, 2025
