Today is my first day visiting my psychotherapist. Unfortunately, I was running a little late due to traffic, as I’ve told someone at the front desk. I’m glad I’m able to come in, as long as I’m not supposed to be late. My new psychotherapist is really nice, firm, kind and has tons of information that I’ve been researching on about my well being, my health and my condition (Inattentive ADHD aka formerly ADD). Even I’m just getting to know her today, I’d still have to work on what triggers me being angry, depressed, having harmful thoughts and etc. I know she’s isn’t trained to manage medication, but I’ve told her that my medication really helps me. In my next appointment, I can’t wait to see and take notes on how to cope with my condition and my mental health along with her help. To be honest, this appointment is 100% better than my therapists/paychiatrists in the past. This place really deserves 5 stars!! Same with my psychotherapist!!

I spoke with Kelli Thorpe now being my therapist. Yes my first feeling about her was true. She’s wonderful. My Dr I don’t think really listens to me. Med change was needed and by an accidental stopping of taking the med it was able to be changed. All meds were revamped after being hospitalized in January but now I have more energy and am more alert and able to handle day to day care of myself. Things have finally started getting done around my home. Now to get my liver to behave I’ll be great lol I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks.

I have seen a lot of providers and been to a lot of different offices over the year and LifeStance is by far the best. The staff is courtesy, and helpful. Making an appointment is easy and contacting my doctor is too. I get a response back the same day which has never been the case with any mental health professional I have seen. Dr Byrd is an amazing doctor with years of experience. I genuinely enjoy my appointments. It is amazing all around, I could not recommend them enough.

I love my therapist! She amazes me with her insight. I am grateful that I found her. As far as the company goes, I didn't like how I had to make an appointment and complete a lot of information online. It's also difficult to reach the local office and cancel an appointment. The penalty for canceling in less than 24 hours is also harsh because you or a loved one may get sick or have an emergency.

Dr. Byrd is the best. He is so friendly and welcoming, while also being professional and helpful. He's been a miracle for me and a breath of fresh air. Finding a psychiatrist you love and is easy to talk to is so hard these days but I feel like I hit the jackpot. The ladies at the front desk are also very welcoming and kind, quick to help with any questions or concerns.
