About Alexis McCrohan (She/Her)
From young adults to elders, Alexis works with individuals to provide support around aging, anxiety, depression, finding a sense of purpose, identity, life transitions, trauma, social systems, and relationships. She believes that we find healing through connection and offers a collaborative, trauma-informed process to foster growth and empowerment.
Alexis’ therapeutic approach is shaped by intersectionality and grounded in creating a trusting relationship. She draws from several modalities including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts, Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, Liberation Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
