After working within the VA National Center for PTSD in Vermont, in research, education, and leadership positions, Barb served as the Director of Behavioral Health Services at the VA Lakeside Clinic in Burlington, VT, before taking a similar position with VA in OR at the Eugene Downtown Clinic in 2019. In late 2021, searching for greater work-life balance, Barb transitioned to a full-time clinical position LifeStance Health. She focuses on helping adults struggling with chronic medical issues, such as physical pain, insomnia, and illness management, as well as those with depression, anxiety, ADHD, stress, trauma, and grief. When not working, Barb enjoys exploring Oregon by bike and hiking boots, as well as gardening and cooking.
