Breanna Smith is a licensed professional counselor. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Youngstown State University. She has spent time working with individuals recovering from various substance use disorders, in an outpatient/sober living environment. She also has experience working with children and teenagers on the Autism spectrum, in both residential and outpatient settings. Breanna utilizes a person-centered approach and seeks to understand each client on an individual level, providing allyship, advocacy, and support in order to help clients achieve their goals. Her other treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).
