Carly Hedrick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. Carly graduated with her Master’s degree in Social Work from East Tennessee State University. Carly’s approach to therapy is shaped by past experiences which have taught her to sit with others in painful emotions and stressful circumstances and listen with compassion, curiosity, and acceptance.

Carly believes therapy should be empowering, and she aims to help her clients build on their strengths, gain new perspectives and skills, and support improvement with their overall quality of life.

Carly has worked previously in a variety of settings, most recently in outpatient community mental health, where she assisted clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, grief, trauma, chronic illness, low self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship and parenting issues. Carly also has experience in pastoral care and incorporates clients’ spirituality and any spiritual or religious concerns they may have into their treatment, as desired.
