Caroline Recio is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has been practicing since 2021. She Graduated with a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in December 2022. She received a Graduate Certificate in Translation Research Education in Adolescent Drug Abuse in May 2022. Caroline Recio believes in treating each client holistically using a client directed approach. Her main focus includes treating LGBTQ+ and disabled populations and adolescents, and young adults with depression, and anxiety. Caroline is a kind, caring, and empathetic clinician motivated to help her clients create positive change in their lives. Caroline strives to meet her clients where they are at and to create a safe space for everyone. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Caroline is an avid traveler and some of her favorite places she has visited are Iceland and Utah. Caroline also participates in social activism for climate change and LGBTQ+ movements.
