All while maintaining that ever elusive “balance.” Charity is passionate about working with clients with ADHD and assisting all clients overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjust to life’s ups and downs. Charity received her Master of Arts and Education in Mental Health Counseling from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. Charity uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, Multicultural Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. These techniques are aimed at helping clients make the changes they’d like to see, including living a healthier, more satisfying and self-directed life. As a mental health clinician, she aims to create a comfortable and non-judgmental space to collaborate with clients. This collaboration encourages clients to look at their struggles, uncover their specialized needs, and reach their goals – which leads to not just healing, but fulfillment!
