Efren Lopez, LCSW

Efren is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who has been practicing since 2016. He graduated from University of Southern California (USC) with a masters in social work and graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) with a B.A. in psychology.

Efren’s approach is primarily centered around developing a working therapeutic relationship in a culturally competent, safe, and empathic environment. He believes in a client-centered, strengths-based approach, where you are the expert and believes in working together, to help you reach your goals and help identify unhelpful patterns, that may be barriers to living a satisfied and fulfilling life. Efren has a particular interest in understanding and confronting stigmas surrounding mental health, particularly in the Latinx community. Efren also has a particular interest with anxiety and mood disorders.

In his spare time, Efren enjoys making and listening to music, watching soccer, basketball and baseball. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his daughter and wife as well as family.
