My practice includes medication management of adults ages 18 and over. I have specialty training and research in college and student athlete mental health. I have a particular interest in working with young adults to build a healthy foundation to achieve their goals. In addition to medication management, my approach to mental health care involves addressing overall health and well-being, including eating habits, exercise, sleep-hygiene, cultivating healthy relationships, and finding meaning in our day to day life.

I have experience and specialty training in women’s mental health, including perinatal mental health, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. I am board certified and completed my psychiatry residency at University of California San Diego after attending medical school at the University of Iowa and undergraduate at Stanford University. I served as medical director at a residential treatment center in Malibu for young adults and I have worked as an outpatient psychiatrist at the Family Health Center of San Diego.
