Jerey previously had a 12-year career in higher education with a strong emphasis with working in fast paced environment, teaching and advising college students. Jerey McKinney embodies the principles of National Association of Social Workers when working with clients. Jerey is a recipient of Living our Values Award 2020; Over 20 year work experience (adoption preservation, foster care, substance use/abuse, early intervention, community mental health and crisis intervention) within the Bloomington/Normal Community and an active member in the community with volunteering and serving on Boards of Directors for two organizations in town. Jerey is passionate about serving, reaching and growing people with their innate skills while walking along side of people to help define what their best self looks like.
