I am a board Ceritfied Marriage and Family bilingual therapist with experience working with individuals, groups, and families in a variety of setting including outpatient mental health clinics, schools, community health organizations, and the Juvenile and Adult Probation department.
Educationally, I have a Master’s degree from Alliant International University, in San diego county, which I
received in 2007. I received an Award from the Juvenile Probation department as the Youth and Family Counselor of the year in 2008.
My work is based on my own personal experiences with mental health issues, with living among different cultures and in different countries and grounded on the respect of all people. I am very well versed in ADHD diagnosis and treatment, I am a Certified Dialectical Behavioral therapist, and an AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor. I also have experience in child abuse and domestic violence, as I facilitated groups for convicted individuals, both in English and Spanish.
