Katy teaches people skills to overcome many challenges, like learning how to regulate emotions; participate in healthy self-care and stress management; how to think rationally and develop healthier relationships; how to manage anxiety and depression; and how to heal from past abuse and trauma. Katy is skilled with working with individuals from all walks of life and will tailor treatment to fit your unique needs. Modalities she uses include assertiveness training, CBT, DBT, and REBT. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, Katy has worked in the counseling field for many years and looks forward to helping you start on your journey of healing.
