What is the best version of you like? Let’s work together to create more moments when you feel like this. My passion lies in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families to support healthy communication, trust, and increase positive moments. I have a great deal of experience working with individuals that experience depression, mood disorders, suicidal thoughts, self-harm/self-destructive behavior, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, ADHD, PTSD, self-esteem issues, and LGBTQ+ health. My hope is to help you learn the skills you need to manage your symptoms and develop the ability to trust and honor yourself.
I have eight years of clinical experience working with children (5+), adolescents, young adults, and families of various socioeconomic backgrounds. I utilize a variety of different evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Matrix (substance use treatment), and Parent Interactive Therapy, and Family Systems based on the individual/families needs. I graduated from California School of Professional Psychology and completed my dissertation with Individuals who identify as transgender or gender queer’s experience in a healthcare setting. I completed my APA internship at an adolescent residential treatment facility and my post-doctoral residency at a private psychiatric hospital working with adolescents in an acute mental health crisis. Most recently I have been working with individuals in an outpatient setting. My goal as a psychologist is to support you on your journey to being the best version of you.
